Job Description

CAP Graduate Tutors provide individual and group tutoring in specific course contents to CAP students who are taking these courses. The tutor supplements in class teaching by reviewing course materials and texts and assist the student with understanding the material in preparation for exams, quizzes and homework completion.

The Graduate Student Tutor will also assist the Administrative Assistant with proctoring exams as needed. 

This is a Work-Study position.
Job Requirements

Must be highly skilled in the content area.

Must be able to provide a recommendation from a faculty member in the relevant department.

Must be patient and willing to work with a diverse student body.

Positions are available for Math, Computer Science, Biology, Chemistry and Business.

Must provide a Cover Letter of interest and permission to review Iona transcript.

Previous tutoring experience a plus.

Must have Work Study.
