This position is for the summer break RA position. Please note, this is only available for current or future RAs. Summer RAs will receive a stipend for the summer paid out bi-weekly. Stipend is $2000.

The Summer RA will be responsible for;

• Live in designated residence hall for contractual period.
•  Knowledgeable on Residential Life Policies and Procedures. 
• Manage Front Desk when a Desk Attendant is not present and/or if shifts need to be filled. 
• Create a safe and welcoming community (Including but not limited to door tags and bulletin boards, and programs) 
• Display a positive attitude during orientation and other campus wide events. 
• Maintain confidentiality 
• Be visible when not on duty 
• Assist with check-in and check-out of all guests 
• Attend Staff Meetings 
• Perform lockouts 
• Occupancy Checks, verification reports. 
• Room and Furniture Inventory 
• Health and Safety Inspections
• Reporting maintenance concerns 
• Assist with mail sorting and distribution 
• Assist the main office/Professional Staff and Must be available the following dates and time while on duty.
  •  Mon-Thurs 11AM-3PM
  • Fridays 1PM-5PM
• Other duties as assigned 
• Participate in a rotating duty schedule 
• Carry Duty Phone and be available for a 24 hour period (example: Monday 7pm-Tuesday 7pm).
• Complete rounds inside and outside the residence halls
