Iona University social media ambassadors are responsible for developing and executing student-focused social strategy for Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. The social media ambassadors will report directly to the social media graduate assistant. Ambassadors are asked to produce video content independently, with the assistance of the social media graduate assistant. All content needs to be approved by the social media graduate assistant and assistant director of digital and social media before posting.  Ambassadors will also:

·       Strategize and develop social media content individually or in groups

·       Film and edit short-form social media videos

·       Attend mandatory weekly planning and assignment meetings

·       Monitor social media for trending sounds and video styles

·       Connect with the Iona community through resharing of Iona’s content on student-ran accounts or personal accounts.
